Our programs utilize the resources provided by the Township of East Brunswick and surrounding communities.
The Daisy Recreation Center
The Daisy Recreation Program, and the Thursdays at Daisy Program are based in the Daisy Recreation Center located in Bicentennial Park. Bicentennial Park is a 36 acre municipal park located at the corner of Hardenburg Lane and Riva Avenue. The park has tennis courts, handball courts, softball and soccer fields, walking and bicycling paths and beautiful Farrington Lake. The Daisy Recreation Center offers three large activity rooms divided by moveable wall partitions. It features a large kitchen, an arts and crafts studio. Bathrooms are special needs accessible. Our backyard has a playground as well as areas for group games. In the summer, we erect a 40 x 40 foot tent to provide a sheltered area for additional activities within the fenced-in backyard. Activities are planned both indoors as well as outdoors to take advantage of changing weather conditions. The newer building, which houses the activity rooms, is connected by a passageway to what is referred to as the “old” Daisy Building. This section of the Daisy Recreation Center houses the nurse’s office on the ground level with administrative offices on the second floor. All buildings are air conditioned.
