Tuesday Evening Bowling Program at Brunswick Zone Carolier Lanes, located at 790 U.S. Route 1 North, North Brunswick, 08902
We will be offering an 8 session program in the Spring from April 3-June 5, 2012. (No program April 10, May 1)The bowlers will be grouped according to age, ability and other factors that will maximize each participant's enjoyment of the activity. We will continue to encourage the development of many skills including social skills. We will not be fostering nor encouraging competition between individuals but will be emphasizing each individual's uniqueness and the development of their individual skills and abilities. Our staff will provide as much assistance as each participant requires.
Brunswick Carolier has bathrooms that are accessible for participants with special needs. "Bumpers" will be used as required to keep the bowling balls out of the gutters. We will be providing pizza for all participants. If your child can't eat pizza, parents are asked to send in a "snack" or "supper". This program is open to both residents and non-residents through the generosity of our parent support group, the Daisy Association.
Hours: 5:00-7:30pm. Registration Deadline: Friday, March 16, 2012.

Thursdays at Daisy (T.A.D.) Program at the Daisy Recreation Center located in Bicentennial Park, (at the junction of Hardenburg Lane and Riva Avenue), East Brunswick, NJ 08816.
Recreational activities will be offered to young adults with special needs 13 years of age and older. The emphasis will be on providing opportunities for social growth and peer interaction. Our activities are planned to promote the concept of ‘education through recreation’. As in all of our programs, our staff will provide assistance to each participant sufficient to make their participation a positive experience. This program is funded by the Daisy Association and the Township of East Brunswick. We meet at the Daisy recreation Center in Bicentennial Park, East Brunswick. We will have pizza for supper. If your child can't eat pizza please send in a simple supper.
Winter Program dates are: January 5-March 15, 2012, (No program: January 26, February 23, March 1), Program hours: 5:00-7:30 pm.
Registration fee: $100.00, resident and non-resident.

Summer 2012 Daisy Recreation Program at the Daisy Recreation Center located in Bicentennial Park, (at the junction of Hardenburg Lane and Riva Avenue), East Brunswick, NJ 08816. This program is for children and young people, who are receiving special education services and who, without a structured setting, would be unable to be successful in a typical children’s camp or recreation program. We offer a program that stimulates growth and development and targets the social, emotional, behavioral, and communication skills of children. Our staff is carefully chosen for their ability to work with children. They have the gift of creating positive, memorable experiences for children with special needs. The staff is under the supervision and direction of experienced special education teachers. Activities may include: sports, arts and crafts, bicycling, music, home economics, swimming, exercise, group games and social activities. Trips are scheduled to visit places of interest.The program is open to residents and nonresidents. This year we will offer a summer program of approximately 6 weeks from June 25-August 3, 2012.
Parents may choose to register their child for:
(Option # 1) the full 6 week program,
(Option # 2) June 25-July 6 (No program July 4th, 2012) ,
(Option # 3) July 9-July 20, 2012, or
(Option # 4) July 23-August 3, 2012.
